This weekend I will be in Woodstock Vermont at the Apples-n-Crafts Fair from 10am - 5 pm.
It is a two day juried crafts fair, outside in a field, under tents.  You will find me next to FallWoodcrafts, (my neighbor David Fall.)

One of the things I enjoyed seeing was how people displayed their paints and tools for working.  Not only do they make nice graphic images,  but they also inspire me to get my paints out and work! : )

Notice how clean everything is!  Well, this was at the beginning of the workshop!

This picture was taken while the work was in progress.The finished piece is a little different but not by much.  I removed the sheer mono-printed ribbon at the top and added a bit more watercolor pencil. It has been really hot here lately and due to get even hotter!  Up in the 90's today!  These temperatures are good for swimming, but for not much else!  The humidity zaps my energy.  I only hope the weather holds with good drying conditions for the upcoming Surface Design Blowout Weekend.  We'll see!

My mono-printing class is this weekend at the League of NH Craftsmen.  I am preparing for it now and pretty excited.  I enjoy teaching and watching my students create.  It should be a great time.

What a great time!  I have talked to a lot of people, many who did not know that such an organization like this existed.  I hope to see some new members from this.  That will make it fun for me (even though it already is!) to be a rep for a longer time.

I have never kept an ongoing sketchbook.  My mind has always found itself sketching so why use my hands to record what could be rapidly done without the disappointment of a shaky hand?
